Douglas & Mieko Hoffman began photographing weddings in Maui in the mid 90’s. Working in the industry enabled them to learn who the best ministers, florists, bakers, & musicians are. In 2003, the Hoffman’s opened Maui Storybook Weddings and began coordinating weddings using the services of these vendors. By associating with people who are have passion for what they do, and a sincere desire to make each event a success, Maui Storybook Weddings has created a niche in the market place. Our selections include the essential elements, yet each couple can customize their wedding by adding services from our ala carte menu. If you would like something we do not offer, please inquire and we do our best to make it possible.

In order to provide the highest level of service possible we require a $150 deposit to begin planning your wedding and to reserve your wedding date. The deposit will be applied towards the cost of your wedding, and is not refundable.

In 2007, Heidi Abel joined the team to oversee daily operations. Heidi works with each couple individually to ensure a successful weddings.
